Meet your kinesiologist...

Welcome!

I am so pleased that you have found Mistletoe Clinic. I hope that this short bio will give you the confidence you need to choose me as your kinesiologist.

My background is in mainstream medicine - I studied Biochemistry at university and spent over 15 years working in medical research. This has provided me with a solid understanding of structural and nutritional complaints.

Having a young family reminded me of the benefits of holistic health and natural healing - the results I saw were just amazing. Making the decision to train in kinesiology, and align my personal and work life, has been wonderful. It has encouraged me to further explore health from an emotional and spiritual perspective.

I completely understand that exploring alternative therapies can be daunting. I hope that my background will enable me to effectively bridge the gap between mainstream medical and alternative worlds.

I have built up a wealth of knowledge and experience over the years (further details below), and my passion now lies in sharing this with others.

Emotional health

Working with energy

Working with energy

I believe that good emotional health is incredibly important, and that emotions/trauma can underpin dis-ease.

I enjoy following the work of Evette Rose, author of Metaphysical Anatomy, for further inspiration in this field.

Working with children

My personal journey has led to hours of research on various topics, including**:

* Women's health

* Thyroid imbalances

* Chronic fatigue

* Childhood trauma (inner child work)

*Impact of stress on the body

**It is important to note that kinesiology seeks to address any imbalances in the body, it does not claim to cure disease.

I often find that it is useful to treat both parent and child for the most effective results.

It is also possible to test the child via the parent, using surrogate testing, should this be easier.

I have lots of patience and toys at hand!

When primitive reflexes are retained, they can underpin learning and behavioural issues.

This field of research is absolutely fascinating, and treatment can be relevant for both adults and children.

I completed my Primitive Reflexes qualification with Linda Belcher.
